IPCC N2O emission calculation
General methodology
We closely follow the equations proposed in IPCC 2019. Needed data is described in Inputs, and the emission factors come from IPCC and are described below.

Warning
The table 11.1a giving values for N_AG, N_BG, R_AG, RS and DRY do not contain values for Oil palm fruit and Sugar cane. For those cultivation, we use the "Generic value for crops not indicated below" and change the DRY value with the DRY values from the previous GNOC version. (0.66 for Oil palm fruit and 0.275 for Sugar cane). The N_AG value for Sugar cane is set to 0.004 as in the previous GNOC version.
Sugar beet values are taken from the category "Potatoes and Tubers", the DRY coefficient is changed to match the 0.25 coefficient from the previous GNOC model.
